I spent Thanksgiving 2010 at my grandmothers house with the Jackman family. I was happy to get to see the family. After catching up on our lives, we watched the Dallas Cowboys almost win one. I spent the majority of the time with my 3 year old nephew. We played and eventually I showed him to play games on the iPhone. He figured it out rather quickly and we had a fun afternoon. After the game we all went our separate ways. It was Friday that I realized that i didn't have access to any leftovers...so I decided that I would make my own mini feast before I had to return to work.
I didn't do everything as I would have had I been cooking on Thanksgiving day, but it turned out to be delicious anyway!
I am thankful that I always helped my mother cook Thanksgiving dinner. I watched her and was her extra set of hands. I know how to do this because of her. So, thanks Mom for my mini feast!
